Who decides when to have a community garage sale?The community decides! Seagate Terrace has a garage sale twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall. A survey on the specific date goes out on the NextDoor app to poll the date.

The date voted on conflicts with my schedule and I am unable to participate, may I have my own garage sale?"According to the Seagate Terrace CC&R's garage sales are only allowed in the community twice a year when organized by the HOA. Independent garage sales are not allowed and a violation of the CC&Rs.

How are garage sales advertised?Members of the community advertise through word of mouth, Facebook Marketplace, NextDoor app, Craigslist, physical signs and various other event boards and methods to drive the most possible traffic and make the sale a success for everyone. The more people that participate the better!

Why should I register?Registration helps us advertise with confidence the number of participants we plan to have. Historically, the more participation we have the more people come to shop!
